GOD’S CREATION

Colors appearing at the Maranatha Conference Center, Muskegon, MI.

I love fall (hate that winter is around the corner). The colors of the trees are breath-taking. We start to dig out the sweaters because of the chill in the air.

Fall is a wonderful time to take in God’s creation. The red, gold, and orange of the leaves burst forth. If you really look around how can you think changes like this just happen? The change of seasons is not haphazard. There is an organization, a rhythm to it.

The Creation account is found in Genesis 1. On the third day, “The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.”  (Genesis 1:12)

God created the separation of light and darkness, and water below from sky above first. After that, when He finished each day of creating new elements of this earth we see the phrase, “And God saw that it was good.”

Take time to be outside. Soak in the beauty of God’s creation. Rejoice in His wonder. Praise God for all He’s done. He created this world for us, and it is good.
