Tank at the Veterans’ Memorial, Otsego, MI.

Military tanks can plow through just about anything. They can withstand a lot of punishment and firepower and not slow down. There are days I wish I had that kind of stamina and power. Unfortunately, there are no human beings with that kind of invincibility. But there is someone that powerful.

Paul tells us in Ephesians 1:18-21, “I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great POWER for us who believe. That POWER is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

God is all-powerful and He has given that power to Christ Jesus. As the verses tell us, Christ is above everything on this earth. Nothing can compare to Him. He is invincible. How wonderful it is to have a Lord that nothing and no one can destroy. Is this Almighty God your God?
